Rains due to LPA will continue to affect Palawan
Palawan will continue to experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the low pressure area, the state weather bureau PAGASA said Saturday.
The LPA was spotted 265 kilometers northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, at 3 p.m., based on PAGASA’s 24-hour weather forecast issued at 4 p.m.
It warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate and, at times, heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies and the intertropical convergence zone.
Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The whole country will experience light to moderate winds, while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate. —Sherylin Untalan/VBL, GMA Integrated News
