PAGASA: LPA spotted off Eastern Mindanao
A cloud cluster spotted off eastern Mindanao has developed into a low-pressure area (LPA), state weather bureau PAGASA said Monday.
In a “24 Oras” report, PAGASA said the LPA has a low chance of strengthening into a tropical cyclone but may drench parts of Mindanao.
Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms may prevail over Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Agusan del Norte.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions may prevail over the country’s seaboards.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila on Tuesday at 5:26 a.m. —Sundy Locus/LDF, GMA Integrated News
