Power interruptions scheduled in Batangas and CamSur on May 21

Residents of some areas in Batangas and Camarines Sur will experience power service interruptions on Tuesday, May 21, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said.

In a post on its Facebook account, the NGCP said some customers of Batangas II Electrical Cooperative (BATELEC II) will have their power service interrupted from 7-8 a.m. and 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday.

This is to give way to the corrective and maintenance works along the Sto. Tomas-Calamba 69kV line segment.

In Camarines Sur, on the other hand, some customers of Camarines Sur Electric Cooperative (CASURECO) will have power service interruption from 3:30 to 4 a.m. on Tuesday.

This is necessary to facilitate the transfer of Naga Substation Transformer #1 to #2, NGCP said.
