US Embassy in PHL closed on Monday, October 14, for Columbus Day

United States Embassy in the Philippines and its affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Monday, October 14, in observance of Columbus Day, an American holiday.

Columbus Day is observed on the second Monday of October to commemorate Christopher Columbus' arrival to the Americas on October 12, 1492. 

In an advisory, the embassy said it, as well as its affiliated offices, will resume their regular services on Tuesday, October 15. —KBK, GMA News
