LRT2 offers veterans free rides on April 5-11, 2019

In observance of the Philippine Veterans Week and the Araw ng Kagitingan, the Light Rail Transit 2 (LRT2) will offer free rides to veterans from April 5 to 11, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced on Tuesday.

Filipino veterans may avail of the unlimited free rides from 4:30 a.m. until the last commercial train trip of LRT2.

A personal companion is also covered by the free ride.

To avail this, veterans should present their valid Philippines Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) identification card.
