MRT3 to deploy buses during Holy Week maintenance shutdown
The Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT3) on Sunday announced the drop-off and pick-up points of buses that will be deployed during Holy Week to service passengers during its scheduled maintenance shutdown.
Management earlier announced that the MRT3 will undergo a one-week maintenance shutdown from April 15 (Holy Monday) to April 21 (Easter Sunday). Normal revenue operations will resume on Monday, April 22.
As a replacement for their train service, the MRT3 will deploy 140 buses during the shutdown.
The following are the designated bus drop-off and pick-up points:
- North Avenue - MRT Station (southbound) and Trinoma (northbound)
- Quezon Avenue - MRT Station and Centris
- GMA Kamuning - In front of SMDC and MLQU Building (old)
- Araneta Center Cubao - Stairway Vista Hotel and Expo Center
- Santolan Annapolis - VV Soliven and MRT Station
- Ortigas - MRT Station and Megamall/Robinson
- Shaw Boulevard - Starmall waiting shed/Megamall
- Boni - Bus stop near stairway and bus stop near SMDC Light Mall
- Guadalupe - Footbridge Loyola and footbridge
- Buendia - Bus stop near Shell gasoline station and bus stop
- Ayala - Bus stop near SM and bus stop near Telus building
- Magallanes - Bus stop near San Lorenzo building and MRT stairway
- Taft Avenue - Before Kabayan and near McDonald's and Sogo Hotel
