Road reblocking and repair schedule for August 16-19, 2019

Some roads in Metro Manila have been scheduled to undergo road reblocking and repair from Friday, August 16, to Monday, August 19, 2019.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct road reblocking and repair on the following roads:

EDSA

• southbound fronting Sojen and fronting Chevrolet (5th lane from sidewalk
• southbound from Magallanes-Baclaran bus stop to Magallanes-Alabang bus stop (outer lane)
• southbound from Eugenio Lopez to Scout Borromeo (desilting and construction of manhole)
• southbound from West Avenue to Philam Village (restoration/concreting works)
• westbound before New York Street (1st lane from sidewalk)

Katipunan Avenue

• southbound from approach to Boni Serrano tunnel (truck lane)

Quirino Highway

• eastbound from Theresa Heights to before Belfast (inner lane)

Elliptical Road

• eastbound before Commonwealth Avenue (7th lane from outer sidewalk)

General Luis

• westbound before Oriental Tin northbound

C-5 Road

• westbound from C.P. Garcia approach to Kalayaan Avenue Extension

The road reblocking and repair started on Friday, August 16, 2019, at 11 p.m.

It will end at 5 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2019.

Motorists were advised to expect traffic slowdown and to use alternate routes if possible. —KG, GMA News
