Portion of East Service Road northbound to be one-way effective Oct. 8

The Manila Toll Expressway Systems, Inc., operator of the South Luzon Expressway, announced that effective Tuesday, October 8, a portion of East Service Road northbound will be one-way.

The portion of East Service Road to be covered by the one-way scheme will be from Alabang to Sucat Interchange.

The one-way scheme will take effect at 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

The company advised motorists bound for Alabang to take the West Service Road or SLEX Sucat Entry southbound toll plaza.

The SLEX operator also said the Alabang northbound entry toll plaza will be transferred to the area under the Skyway on-ramp near Amkor Anam effective on October 8 at 10 p.m.

The northbound lane of SLEX has become heavy the past few weeks due to the Skyway 3 construction.

Motorists plying SLEX can expect better traffic conditions by the end of November when lane 3 is reopened, private operator Skyway O&M Corp. said Tuesday. —KG, GMA News
