Commercial flight ops to and from Catanduanes suspended for 2 weeks

The provincial government of Catanduanes has suspended for two weeks the operations of commercial flights to and from the province, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Monday.

This is to give way to flights carrying relief goods.

The government said such flights will be prioritized especially since the food supply in the province is running low a week after Super Typhoon Rolly caused devastation.

Rolly (international name: Goni) made landfall over Bato, Catanduanes on Sunday and the province was placed under the highest storm signal, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 5.
