LRT1 ops temporarily affected by train glitch; normal ops resumed —LRMC

Operations of the Light Rail Transit-Line 1 (LRT1) were affected on Monday morning after a train had a glitch, the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) said.

"A 25kph speed restriction has been put in place from Baclaran to Balintawak. Technician is already on board working the fault of affected LRV. Please allow additional travel time of about 8 minutes," the LRMC said on Twitter at 7:17 a.m.

At 7:25 a.m., LRMC said it has implemented a stop for safety from Baclaran to Balintawak.

"Technician is already on board working the fault of affected train located at Tayuman Station. Please allow additional travel time of about 15 minutes," it added.

Operations resumed normally at 7:34 a.m.

"As of 7:34 AM, April 04,  2022 - We are Green and Go on all 19 stations of LRT-1. Ingat po sa biyahe!," the LRMC said.
