Pasig ferry service

The operation of Pasig River Ferry Service for Monday, September 26, is suspended due to the bad weather due to Karding, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced Sunday on social media.

MMDA is currently on red alert in preparation for the impact of the said storm.

The state weather bureau has already placed at least two areas under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 5, indicating that winds of over 185 kilometers per hour are expected in at least 12 hours.

Several other areas in Luzon were also placed under other TCWS levels, with Karding expected to make landfall in the northern portions of Quezon or the southern portion of Aurora on Sunday night.

Classes in several areas on Monday, September 26, have already been suspended, along with a number of flights. —LBG, GMA News
