LRT2 cuts short operating hours on New Year's Eve

The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT2) will be implementing shortened operating hours on Sunday in light of the New Year celebration, according to the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA).

Based on the LRT2 system’s social media posts, the last commercial train from the Antipolo station will leave at 7 p.m., while the ride from Recto station will leave at 7:30 p.m.

LRTA said both Antipolo and Recto stations will be closed five minutes before their last scheduled trips.

All LRT2 stations are open starting 5 a.m.

Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, January 1, 2024, from 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT3) and Philippine National Railways (PNR) also adjusted their schedules for the holidays.
