Class cancellations for Monday, January 20, 2020
Classes for Monday, January 20, 2020 have been canceled in some areas, mainly due to the Taal Volcano eruption.
- Batangas Province - all levels; classes in Batangas will remain canceled while Taal Volcano is at Alert Level 4.
- Alfonso, Cavite - all levels until Tuesday, Jan. 21
- Carmona, Cavite - elementary level, public schools
- Tagaytay City, Cavite - all levels

Class cancellations were also announced in the following:
- Cebu City, Cebu - all levels, public schools (due to Sinulog)
- Philippine College of Criminology - classes and work due to bomb threat
