Eat Bulaga raises P14 million from ticket sales for AlDub library project

Eat Bulaga has raised P14 million from ticket sales for its "Tamang Panahon" for its library project.

Wally Bayola, in character as Lola Nidora, announced this on Saturday during the opening segment of the noontime show.

Powered by the AlDub phenomenon, Eat Bulaga sold out the 55,000-seat Philippine Arena in just three days.

The show earlier said it was donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the show to its project which aims to build "AlDub Libraries" at select schools nationwide.

Fans who were unable to buy tickets were also given the opportunity to donate to the project. --JST, GMA News
