Iya Villania 'officially on maternity leave'

Iya Villania is all set to give birth to her first baby with husband Drew Arellano.

The Chika Minute host made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday.

"Officially on maternity leave!!! Approaching d-day so taking the time now to get a trim to keep whatever freshness I can during labor," she wrote.

On Monday night, Patricia Tumulak took over hosting duties for the Chika Minute segment on "24 Oras." Iya had previously left lifestyle show "Taste Buddies" on GMA News TV because of her pregnancy, with Rhian Ramos taking her spot.

Last week, Iya was treated to a surprise baby shower by friends and family members.

The only thing keeping her busy these days is pampering herself while waiting to give birth to their baby boy, who they will name Primo.

"I've accepted that #Primo will be keeping me busy for the next couple of months so availing of the ME time before I push this watermelon out! The boy is still in my belly but already wants all of my attention. I wonder what he's doing in there?" she wrote on Instagram. —JST, GMA News
