Kapuso stars support #TheNewPH campaign for Independence Day

In celebration of the 119th Philippine Independence Day, fashion magazine MEGA launched a social media campaign to lead a "movement towards a new Philippines."

The campaign featured some of the most influential celebrities and personalities in the country who took part of their project, which was tagged #TheNewPH.

Kapuso celebrities were photographed with a yellow background which symbolized hope. Other celebrities meanwhile were photographed with Philippine flag colors red and blue—meaning love and courage.

Everybody shared their own photos on their Instagram accounts.

Among the Kapuso stars who are part of #TheNewPH campaign are Glaiza de Castro, Gabbi Garcia, Megan Young, Ivan Dorschner, Andrea Torres, Ruru Madrid, Sanya Lopez, Klea Pineda, Ameera Johara, John Phillip Balang, Ken Chan, Rita Daniela, Jak Roberto, Sofia Pablo and Ayeesha Cervantes.

"In these times when fear and uncertainty have seemingly taken over, as a united nation, we remain steadfast and unfazed in the midst of challenges.??
