Park Shin Hye has a charity center in Manila

Park Shin Hye is massively successful. But did you know the Korean actress actually has a charity center in Manila to help less-fortunate kids?

According to a report on Unang Balita, a Korean preacher living in the Philippines told her about a community in Manila where she can help out. Shin Hye loved the idea. Korea was close enough to the Philippines for her to visit and help out often.

Shin Hye arrived in Manila last week for a fun mall meet and the much-awaited concert on Friday, Jul 28 at the Araneta Coliseum.

The anticipation was well-worth it. During the concert, Shin Hye sang, danced, acted even, and delighted everybody when she spoke in Tagalog. “Masaya po ako makilala kayo,” said the Stairway to Heaven actress to her audience.

In the audience during the concert were local celebrities Christine Babao and Janice de Belen who emphatically said, “siyempre gusto kong makita si Park Shin Hye kasi fan niya talaga ako!”

This is the second time Park Shin Hye came to Manila. The last time she was here was in 2013. — LA/KVD, GMA News
