Celine Dion fans felt the power of love on first night of concert
The downpour was nothing but a drizzle for fans of Canadian singer Celine Dion as they trooped to the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday for the first night of her concert.
Longtime admirers waited as early as 10 am to catch a glimpse of the singer and there was even a differently abled fan from Bukidnon whose family helped her fly to Manila to watch her idol.
In addition to delighting Filipinos, the concert in Manila was also a gift for fans from neighboring countries like Vietnam.
Nelson Canlas reporting for GMA News said that Celine made sure to return the power of her fans' love by giving an incredible performance. She set the bar high by opening with that incredible number.

Spotted in the crowd enjoying the evening were Miss Universe Philippines 2009 Bianca Manalo, actors Claudine Barretto, and host Mariel Padilla.
