What a swell start to October!

Tonight, October 1, Lauren Young will make her Korean TV debut as the K-Drama in which she landed a guest role, Where Stars Land, premieres tonight in South Korea.

“It was such a surreal experience working in a different country and even with the languages barrier we had such a smooth and calm working environment. I can’t believe that this happened!!!!!” Lauren exclaimed on Instagram, posting a photo with Korean actress Chae Soo-bin.

Our episode airs on October 9!!! Thank you @fangirlasia for the opportunity of a lifetime and of course to @piamagalona, my manager and now my favorite travel buddy this trip wouldn’t have been as insightful and fun if it weren’t for you!! Can’t wait to go home and share everything I learned in Korea to my peers!!! ????

According to Lauren, her episode will air on October 9.

On September 14, she flew out of Manila to work on the TV show — or as the actress jokingly said in another IG post, “to become a KPOP Superstar.”

Speaking to PEP.ph, Lauren’s big sister Megan said she was very proud of her sister, who makes an appearance to the show alongside co-Pinoy actor Ejay Falcon.

“I’m happy that Lauren was able to get a guest part…Lauren sent an audition tape. Medyo kinabahan pa siya and she felt na she wouldn’t get it,” Megan said, adding that she really prayed for Lauren to get the part.

Well, suppose it’s safe to say that Megan’s prayers coupled with Lauren’s hard work paid off. We can’t wait for Where Stands Land to air in Philippine TV.

Congrats, Lauren! — LA, GMA News
