GMA Regional TV treats Kapuso to fun-filled, service-oriented June events

June was filled with entertainment and public service as GMA Regional TV, the regional arm of GMA Network, treated the Kapuso all over the regions to star-studded shows and community activities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Kicking off the series of month-long events was the Kapuso Mall Show in CSI Dagupan Mall, Dagupan City last June 1 which was bannered by no less than the lead stars of latest primetime series The Better Woman—Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres. They were joined by The Clash alumni Garret Bolden and Anthony Rosaldo, with Kapuso comedienne Maey Bautista as host.

On the same day, The Clash Grand Champion Golden Cañedo inspired the aspiring Negrense singers as she graced the Bacolod leg of The Clash Auditions in Robinsons Place, Bacolod City. 

Meanwhile, the stars of GMA Afternoon Prime series Dahil sa Pag-ibig, Sanya Lopez and Benjamin Alves, made their Pangasinense fans happy when they held a Kapuso Mall Show in Magic Mall Tayug last June 8. Further entertaining the fans were The Clash Alumni Jong Madaliday and Mirriam Manalo. Donita Nose hosted the show.

Gracing this year’s Kansilay Festival via a Kapuso Fiesta were Rodjun Cruz, Kyline Alcantara, Donita Nose, and Rocco Nacino. The group had a show last June 12 in Silay Public Plaza, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

In Iloilo, Benjamin Alves, Winwyn Marquez, Pancho Magno, and Sanya Lopez of Dahil sa Pag-ibig, spent the Independence Day by giving all-out performances during the Kapuso Mall Show in Festive Walk Mall last June 12.

Leading the Cebu leg of The Clash Auditions last June 15 was The Clash Judge Christian Bautista. Together with The Clash alumnus Jong, Christian also serenaded the crowd gathered in Robinson Galleria Cebu.

Taking a break from their busy schedule as well were the cast of the afternoon series Dragon Lady. Tom Rodriguez, Janine Gutierrez, Aira Bermudez, and Joyce Ching promoted their show in Vista Mall, Balanga, Bataan last June 15.

In Batangas City, Xentro Mall was filled the powerful voices of Garret and Anthony when they led the The Clash Auditions last June 16.

Arra San Agustin and Kristoffer Martin both graced this year’s Tabak Festival at the BUTC Auditorium in Tabaco City, Albay. Arra was present during the Ginoong Tabak Artist last June 18, while Kristoffer made the Mutya ng Tabak extra special last June 20.

Meanwhile, spreading love in Palawan were Love You Two’s Gabby Concepcion and Solenn Heussaff who led the Kapuso Mall Show in SM City Puerto Princesa last June 22.

Another Love You Two star, Clint Bondad, flew to Zamboanga City last June 29 with Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko lead actors Kris Bernal, Megan Young, and Kim Domingo for another Kapuso Mall Show held in KCC Mall de Zamboanga.

And capping off the month-long Kapuso Mall Shows was Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo who celebrated the first year of Festive Walk Mall in Iloilo City last June 30.

On top of these shows, GMA RTV also held a series of Kapuso Barangayans in Iloilo City; Talisay City and Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu; and in Davao City and Davao del Norte.

Through these activities, we are not only giving quality entertainment but also public service to local communities in the regions.
