Student films from Mapua join first-ever Korea Pinoy International Film Festival


Six student films from the Mapua University will be showcased at the first-ever Korea Pinoy International Film Festival (KPIFF) on September 28 in  Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.

The movies will be presented during the "The Best of Mapua" showcase.

According to a press statement from the university, some of the films have already been featured and have won awards in various other festivals both local and international.

Moreover, Mapua’s School of Media Studies faculty member Roberto Reyes Ang will also showcase his film "TNT – Tago Nang Tago (Always on the Run)" in the Director’s Showcase division during the festival.

KPIFF, founded by Nash Ang, a Filipino filmmaker and media practitioner based in Seoul, will be running from September 27 to 29. — Kaela Malig/LA, GMA News
