It must have been a nerve-wracking experience for Kylie Verzosa to watch fellow queen Patch Magtanong compete for the Miss International crown.

Kylie was the last Filipina to bring home the coveted crown in 2016.

While Patch failed to return the crown to the Philippines, her performance was more than enough to make Kylie proud.

In an Instagram post, Kylie said it was an "exquisite performance," but that she was so nervous while watching it live.

So proud of you @patchmag. Exquisite performance! I felt like a mom watching the pageant for the first time live, I was so nervous. I don’t think i’m ever going to watch another pageant live again ???? You were amazing and a great representative of the Philippines. Your speech on women empowerment and gender equality was moving. Congratulations, this is only the beginning. ????
