Juancho Triviño, Joyce Pring move wedding venue from Tagaytay amid Taal unrest

Kapuso actor Juancho Triviño and TV host Joyce Pring moved their wedding venue from Tagaytay City due to the unrest from the Taal Volcano.

The two are set to be married in the first quarter of 2020, but they needed to make adjustments in the preparations as the Taal Volcano remains in Alert Level 4.

Thousands of residents in Batangas and Cavite are still in evacuation centers as the PHIVOLCS warned of the hazards of a possible explosive eruption.

"Gusto naming maging sensitive sa people of the affected areas rin. Na kahit na i-push through namin 'yung wedding namin dun sa area, hindi rin naman parang okay di ba," Juancho said in Lhar Santiago's report for "24 Oras."

"Maraming tumulong naman sa amin makakuha ng venue, but hindi siya masyadong mahirap, mas malapit naman talaga para sa mga guests," he said.

Starstruck alum Sheena Halili and fiance Jeron Manzanero also decided to move their wedding venue from Tagaytay.

"Ang inisip din namin na 'yung safety ng magiging bisita namin, family namin, and s'yempre para wala na rin akong iisipin na kung ano pa mangyayari," Sheena said. "May ilang araw na pino-process ko rin sa utak ko na kailangan talaga namin siyang i-move dahil s'yempre mas importante sa amin na matuloy ang kasal at safe ang guests namin."

"Dito na lang sa Manila instead of an out of town wedding or destination wedding," Jeron said. —MGP, GMA News
