Dingdong Dantes is now a Lieutenant Commander of the Philippine Navy.

The Kapuso actor, or should we say LCDR Jose Sixto Dantes III, PN (Res), donned the rank of Lieutenant Commander in a ceremony at the PN Headquarters on Monday.

Dingdong's ever-supportive wife Marian Rivera was also at the ceremony, along with his "Descendants of the Sun" co-star Rocco Nacino, who's also a Navy reservist.
