Bogart the Explorer 'lost a ton of blood and meat' after surfing freak accident

Marco Ho, better known as Bogart the Explorer, got involved in a surfing freak accident over the weekend leaving him with a severe cut on his right leg.

"The impact was so strong, the fin broke off. I lost a ton of blood and meat," Bogart wrote in a Facebook post where he shared a photo of himself lying on the hospital bed.

The comedian said the main vein on his right leg was cut but had missed his main artery by a centimeter.

"I will be needing multiple operations of reconstructive surgery and skin grafting, blood transfusions and physical therapy to be able to walk again," he continued.

He reassured that he's now in a stable condition but asked prayers for his recovery.

"I thank everyone's support especially those who've been critical to my survival at this point," he said."

"The folks at Gran Ola, Lianga District Hospital, Docs Mauro and Harry at San Francisco Doctors as well as the nurses and ambulance drivers who have been absolutely amazing. To all my family and friends, thank you so very much. You give me strength to fight through this especially my loving wife Jeanette and daughter Music. I love you both so much," he added.

Bogart is currently in Davao "awaiting for more operations."

In another photo, Bogart shared the final diagnosis on his injury which read "Soft tissue defect propliteal area with transection gastrochemius with soleus muscle right secondary to fall."
