Gabbi Garcia covers Hillsong's 'Good Grace' to lift spirits amid COVID-19 scare

Amid the growing fears and anxieties over the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the country, Gabbi Garcia has taken the time to lift the spirits of her fellow Filipinos.

On her Instagram account, the Kapuso It Girl posted a heartfelt cover of Hillsong's "Good Grace" on Monday.

Gabbi also tagged the location as simply, "PRAY."

"Here’s a little reminder that despite of everything, God is always present and He will forever love us," she said. "Let us all unite in prayer in this time of crisis. Let us pray for our Front liners, our country and for the whole world."

Gabbi was accompanied by a guitar in the cover, which was split into two short videos.

The song includes the lines, "Take courage. Hold on. Be strong. Remember where our help comes from."

As of Sunday, the Philippines has 140 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 12 deaths. President Rodrigo Duterte has placed the entire Luzon in community quarantine. --MGP, GMA News
