Emma Stone postpones wedding amidst COVID-19 pandemic

Emma Stone and Dave McCary have decided to postpone their wedding due to the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the United States.

According to Page Six' report on Tuesday, the Oscar-winning actress and writer were set to tie the knot in Los Angeles last weekend but have decided to hold it off amidst the ongoing pandemic.

The couple have yet to set a new date for their wedding, said the celebrity news site.

After dating for two years, McCary revealed their engagement on Instagram last December with a photo of the two of them smiling as Stone showed off her ring.

According to World Health Organization's COVID-19 situation report as of Wednesday, over 4,979 cases have been confirmed and 68 people have died in the Regions of the Americas. There are 191,127 cases and 7,807 deaths globally.
