Kapuso stars bond with their beloved doggos amid quarantine

Kapuso stars have turned to their pet doggos for some good vibes amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

A great idea, as pets can help relieve stress and anxiety, according to a psychologist.

In Cata Tibayan's report for "24 Oras," "Descendants of the Sun" actor Rocco Nacino said he starts his day with a smile thanks to his three Corgis.

"Iba 'yung nabibigay nilang aura eh," he said. "Nakakakalma kumbaga, lalo na sa akin pag bagong gising ako, tapos sila unang bumabati sa akin."

"Encantadia" actress Arra San Agustin also said her pet dogs never fail brighten up her day and give her joy.

"It makes me feel special na natutuwa silang nakikita nila ako. It's so cute, nakakalighten lang ng mood," she said.

Ysabel Ortega, meanwhile, reminded pet owners to care for their fur babies and best friends.

"Tayo lang 'yung mundo nila eh. Kung tayo may ibang tao, sila, tayo lang. So it's better if we really make them feel that love," she said. —MGP, GMA News
