Megan Young, Mikael Daez discuss which lies are 'forgivable' and 'unforgivable' in relationships

Following their vlog on jealousy, Megan Young and Mikael Daez weighed in on which lies are "forgivable" and "unforgivable" in relationships.

In the 30-minute video, the couple discussed whether or not lies of omission, cheating, a person's whereabouts, financial situations, and purchases are forgivable.

Towards the end of the video, Megan and Mikael said practicing honesty is their secret to having openness in their relationship.

"For us it really is honesty. It goes against the whole topic of this podcast which is about lying," Mikael said.

He stressed that "honesty takes practice. I say that from experience because it's hard."

Mikael added that lying tends to become a person's defense mechanism because of shame they feel from the things they lie about.
