Glaiza de Castro shares how she met South Korean singer Jo Han-jun

Glaiza de Castro has shared that she met Jo Han-jun, her duet partner on her cover of K-Pop song “Eight,” while working on a project in South Korea.

In Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday, Glaiza shared that she met the singer and music producer when she played a role for a short film set in South Korea and he acted as her partner.

Coincidentally, both were into music and even visited a karaoke bar together.

“It was our first ever collaboration. We just sang lots of different songs. We were surprised that he can rap,” Glaiza shared.

Teaming up, the two worked on their version of the hit single “Eight” by IU and BTS member Suga.

According to Glaiza, she played the guitar, sang the lyrics, and edited the video, while Han-jun sang the rap part and produced the cover.

“I actually just messaged him on Instagram and asked if we could do this song, and he said, okay,” the actress said.

As of writing, the cover has reached over 100,000 views. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
