Bidding for Catriona Gray’s Miss Universe pin closes at P250K
Less than a week after Catriona Gray auctioned off her Miss Universe pin, the bidding closes at P250,000, the amount of which will be used for COVID-19 testing kit funds.
The Miss Universe 2018 queen placed her pin for bidding at the Shop & Share fundraiser website spearheaded by Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis.
According to the website, there were a total of 12 bids which ended at P250,000 on Thursday, June 11.
“In December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, Miss Universe Philippines, Catriona Gray debuted the ‘slow-mo turn’ and Ibong Adarna gown. The Philippines sash was secured over her heart with this pin,” said the site.
Apart from getting the pin, the highest bidder will also receive a personal handwritten note from Catriona herself, the Shop & Share website said. – Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/RC, GMA News
