Jak Roberto and Barbie Forteza on saying sorry

Sorry can be the hardest thing to say after a fight, but you say it anyway because you really care about the other person.

This is very true for Jak Roberto and Barbie Forteza, who just played a game of "Dugtungan" on "Unang Hirit," where they were asked to complete the sentence "Una akong mag-sorry dahil..."

Jak answered first, saying he likes to say sorry first because he didn't want their fights to last any longer than they had to be.

"Nauuna akong mag-sorry para hindi na magtagal 'yung tampuhan. Maayos agad, and hindi na tumagal pa. Hindi ko na pinapalipas 'yan ng umagahan," he says.

Barbie, on the other hand, admitted that she sometimes ends up saying sorry first because she couldn't stand the silence between them.

"Nauuna akong mag-sorry dahil parang hindi ko kaya na matagal kaming tahimik. Eh hindi po ako sanay ng ganu'n, kasi si Jak po ke-tama, ke-mali, salita po ng salita 'yan," she says.

The couple, who recently reunited for their third anniversary after the lockdown, also revealed who they thought was more "sweet."

"Tingin ko mas sweet ako, dahil mas maalalahanin ako," Barbie said.

Jak countered it, saying: "Sa tingin ko mas sweet ako kasi lahat ng kine-crave mo, naluluto ko!”

Barbie also dared to complete the sentence "Nagseselos si Jak dahil..."

"Nagseselos si Jak dahil sa huli niyong guest!" she blurted out, later revealing that she was referring to her fellow Kapuso actor Rayver Cruz, whom she had a crush on for a long time.

Jak seemed pretty cool about it, but playfully covered the screen saying: "Mauuna na po ako ah!"
