Baeby Baste tests negative for COVID-19, finishes 14-day home quarantine

Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Baeby Baste just finished his 14-day quarantine at their home in General Santos City.

On Instagram Thursday, Baste shared a photo of himself  holding a paper to prove that he's been cleared from home quarantine.

"Yaaaaay completed my 14-day home quarantine thank You Lord sa himsug nga panglawas #wheninGensan," he wrote in the caption.

Baste, his mom, and his brother Samsam flew to their home in GenSan this month.

Because all three of them were considered as locally stranded individuals (LSI), they had to follow the protocol of the GenSan local government unit.

"Following LGU-Gensan's strict protocol for LSI from airport bus to city service per batch para mahatud sa hotel... kalahutay ragyud mi, ug thank You kaayo Lord.... and thank you po sa among boss, m'm jen na nagpayag mag-uli sa mi sa GenSan."

Just last week, Baste posted a photo of himself during a rapid test procedure and announced that he had tested negative for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

"NEGATIVE... Thank You kaayo Lord. strict monitoring sa among barangay. thank you po antie sa pag check kanunay sa amo diri #rapidtest #homequarantine14days," Baste wrote on Instagram.

In April, Baste's father Papa Sol, a police officer serving as a frontliner, tested positive for COVID-19. He later fought off the disease and returned to duty. —Jannielyn Bigtas/MGP, GMA News
