Carla Abellana vlogs her first day back to 'official work' in GMA-7

Carla Abellana shot a whole vlog episode to show how her first day back to "official work" went inside the GMA-7 premises.

According to the Kapuso actress, she and her partner Tom Rodriguez are scheduled to do a plug shoot for the 70th anniversary of the network.

Before they proceeded with the shoot, the Kapuso stars had to visit the network's clinic for temperature check and medical survey.

"First time for Tom and I to leave home for work. Scary, but we're grateful we have work and everyone followed quarantine safety protocols," Carla wrote in the description of the YouTube video.

Carla said the staff all followed strict social distancing measures even if they all already tested negative for COVID-19 before they went back to work.

"Less than 10 lang sila. They were tested for COVID-19, and negative din silang lahat."

The Kapuso actress said she saw her fellow Kapuso Alden Richards from afar, also scheduled to do the plug after them. They didn't get to chat, Carla said and added it's better to be safe and practice social distancing.

The vlog post, which was published on June 26, has more than 130,000 views as of writing.

Carla received the Silver Play Button Award from YouTube for her blog six months ago but only got to celebrate it this weekend. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
