Allan K thanks everyone who has been part of Klownz during 18-year run

Allan K has expressed his gratitude to everyone who has been a part of his comedy bar Klownz during its 18-year run.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the comedian and host shared a video saying goodbye to his bar.

With Gary Valenciano’s “Send in the Clowns” playing in the background, the words “Salamat Klownz! 2002-2020” were displayed on the video.

Allan K wrote, “Maraming salamat sa lahat nang naging bahagi ng Klownz comedy bar.”

“Sa mga tumangkilik, nakisaya, nakitawa at sinamahan kami sa loob ng 18 years, salamat ng marami,” he added.

Apart from Klowz, Allan K’s Zirkoh comedy bar also closed permanently after he filed for bankruptcy given the uncertainty caused by the pandemic. 

More than 100 employees of the two bars are expected to lose their jobs due to the closure. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
