Rocco Nacino gears up for ‘Descendants of the Sun’ filming

The Philippine adaptation of “Descendants of the Sun” is set to resume filming soon, and Rocco Nacino’s body is ready for it.

The Kapuso actor, who plays Sergeant Diego Ramos a.k.a. Wolf on the show, just gave his fans a glimpse into his intense workout session.

Rocco shared an Instagram photo of himself working on his core and upper body.

“Gearing up. Back to Wolf’s soldier condition. DOTS family will be reunited soon. #DOTSph,” he said on the caption.

For those who don’t know, Rocco Nacino is also a real-life officer of the Philippine Navy’s reserve force, as well as a TV host, martial artist, and registered nurse.

On “Descendants of the Sun,” he plays a member of an elite team of soldiers led by Captain Lucas Manalo played by Dingdong Dantes.

Rocco and his costars underwent intense training with the Armed Forces, and the experience also fueled his love for serving the country. – Margaret Claire Layug/RC, GMA News
