Rita Daniela transforms Ken Chan into 'Destiny Rose' in latest vlog episode

Rita Daniela just showed off her incredible makeup skills yet again by transforming Ken Chan into one of his most iconic TV characters, "Destiny Rose."

In the 2015 Kapuso drama of the same name, Ken took on the daring role of Destiny Rose, a woman trapped in a man's body.

As Rita did his makeup on her vlog, Ken recalled the exhausting days of filming when he had to act and while keeping the full "Destiny" look on at the same time.

"Ang 'di ko makakalimutan do'n 'yung makeup ko kasi excited na excited akong tanggalin. Biruin mo, buong araw kang naka-makeup, buong araw kang [naka-false eyelashes], ang bigat-bigat na ng mata ko no'n. Tapos ang hirap umiyak kasi ang daming nakalagay sa mata mo, may contact lenses, 'yung pilikmata," he said.

"Lalo 'pag nag-shave ako, after eight hours, makikita mo meron na kagad kaya from time to time, lagi akong nagse-shave kasi kailangan maging feminine 'yung itsura ko no'n," he added.

Rita, however, marvelled at how "easy" it was to put makeup on her on-screen sweetheart.

"Ang dali mong makeup-an, grabe, parang konting-konting [makeup], nagmu-mukha ka agad babae," she told him.

Rita Daniela and Ken Chan are known to have grown very close after being paired in several GMA-7 teleseryes, including "One of the Baes," where Rita played an aspiring sea woman named Jowalyn while Ken played environmentalist vlogger named Grant.

The "RitKen" love team also captured audiences in the TV series "My Special Tatay," where Ken played a young man with mild intellectual disability named Boyet, who falls into a love-hate relationship with Rita's feisty character Aubrey.

The on-screen sweethearts went into their usual Boyet-vs-Aubrey kulitan all throughout the vlog. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
