Donita Nose discharged from hospital after COVID-19 battle

Donita Nose has been discharged from the hospital after battling the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The comedian-host announced the good news in a video posted in her Facebook account on Wednesday.

"And I'm free! Salamat po Ama," Donita said.

"Salamat sa lahat ng frontliners saksi ako sa hirap at pagmamahal nyo sa mga pasyente at trabaho nyo," she added.

The "Wowowin" co-host also thanked everyone who prayed for her recovery and those who supported her throughout her ordeal.

Donita previously said she plans to donate her blood plasma for COVID-19 research. She also intends to organize an online show to pay tribute to frontliners. 

Other celebrities who recovered from COVID-19 include Christopher De Leon, Iza Calzado, Michael V, Art Atayde and Sylvia Sanchez. —MGP, GMA News
