Kris Bernal, fiance Perry Choi set tentative wedding date to May 2021

Kris Bernal and her non-showbiz fiance Perry Choi has tentatively set their wedding to May 2021.

But the Kapuso actress admitted that there has been "zero planning" and that they're not sure it's even pushing through on that month.

"Talagang ang date namin to get married is May next year, 2021," she said in her latest vlog. "Ang naging problema lang namin, hindi kami maka-reserve ngayon. Hindi kami maka-book ng church, di kami makabuo ng team."

"Talagang wala, zero planning kami ngayon. Hindi namin inaasikaso, di mo sure kung kailan eh. Hindi rin tayo sure kung matutuloy sa May 2021 eh," she added.

She said it was the delayed construction of their dream house that really put a wrench in their plans because they wanted to move into it once they were married. They currently live separately, as they prioritize taking care of their families.

Kris said they had gone through the planning and drawing and designing of the house, but no further.

"Stuck pa rin kami dito sa stage na to, di pa kami naka-move on," Kris said.

"The reason why magkakaroon ng delay ang wedding is because of the house. Construction will be delayed because of the pandemic," she added.

Still, Kris wasn't that bothered by having their plans delayed.

"Hindi naman kami nagmamadali," she said.

The couple got engaged on February 6. Kris planned to surprise Perry with a party on his birthday, but he surprised her with a proposal instead. —JCB, GMA News
