A1's Mark Read tells Filipinos: 'Miss na kita, mahal ko kayo'

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to threaten nations around the world, travel and concerts are out of the question.

So if you're missing 90s boy band A1, which last held a concert in the Manila in 2018, the good news is that member Mark Read also misses you too.

In this morning's episode of "Unang Hirit," Mark shared a message for his Filipino fans.

"Magandang umaga," Mark greeted. "I want to say how much I miss you all. Miss na kita. I really do miss you all. And I hope you're all staying safe, mahal ko kayo," he said.

Then he hilariously added, "And what else? Oh! Sana all."

Since there won't be any concerts anytime soon, Mark instead gave a performance all the way from the United Kingdom.

The singer-songwriter sang his new song "Smile Again," which he said was written to cheer people up and make them smile.

A1 is popular for their iconic hits "Like a Rose," and "Everytime," among others. —JCB, GMA News
