After showing rapping skills, Tom Rodriguez shares interest in music production

After showing his rapping chops in Waray, Tom Rodriguez is venturing into more endeavors in music production.

According to Cata Tibayan's report on "24 Oras," the Kapuso actor aims to compose his own beat and produce a song one day.

Since 2012, he started investing in equipment such as piano keyboard, microphone, and bluetooth keyboard.

"For my song writing, for my rap, parang plano ko sana one-man team," he said.

In his Instagram account, he even shared a video himself creating a beat in between shooting his scenes for GMA's new anthology drama "I Can See You: High Rise Lovers."

Tom said his interest in music production began when he previously participated in a musical staging of "Aladdin."

"Seeing the orchestra, how our MP would set things up, parang it inspired me na you can put sounds together and try to create an emotion or a vibe," he said.

"Parang may nag-click lang sa utak ko na I want to try something like that," he added. —MGP, GMA News
