Glaiza de Castro gets sweet anniversary surprise from boyfriend amid LDR

Glaiza de Castro and her boyfriend David Rainey had to spend their anniversary apart, but the latter wasn't about to let it pass without a sweet (and hilarious) surprise.

On Instagram, the actress shared a video of her arriving at the beach in the morning, only to be greeted with a bouquet of flowers...and a body pillow with David's face on it.

Glaiza's friends had helped set it up before she arrived, and she couldn't help her laughter when she saw it.

"Oh my God! Seryoso ba 'yan?" she could be heard asking.

In her post, Glaiza said she had been suffering from separation anxiety since she and David have been apart for months now.

"But this morning, someone surprised me and I’m so grateful ‘cause he constantly find ways to be there for me. Though not physically for now. I know we’ll be together again but hopefully, soon," she wrote.

"Maraming salamat at mahal kita. Special thanks to our friends who planned this perfectly and woke up extra early to set this up. Sobrang saya lang," she added.

She also shared a photo of herself chilling on the beach, holding the flowers with the pillow sitting next to her.

Glaiza has been staying in Baler, Aurora during the quarantine. She has a bed and breakfast there called Casa Galura. —JCB, GMA News
