Heart Evangelista is releasing music she produced back in 2005

Remember the age of "Tell Me" and "One" and "Love Has Come My Way"? Apparently there are more where those songs came from!

Heart Evangelista is releasing never-before heard music she produced all the way back in 2005.

What brought this on? Apparently, quarantine got Heart digging around her old things.

"It started with this pandemic, actually. I was going through my boxes of memories, and there's a whole lot of boxes of different things in my life, and I came across my album, which was produced back in 2005. And I had favorite songs that I never really released, and nobody really heard," she told GMANetwork.com.

"I think I was 21 when I did that and that was such a good time in my life. And I thought that, you know, I want to release it. I want to share it," she added.

She said this is just her way of sharing "little sparkles of my happiness" with other people, and doesn't mind if it's not for everyone.

Heart recalled how 2005 was a "different life" and that it feels like "three lifetimes ago."

"That was my time when I was coming of age. I turned 21. I left my management team. I was independent financially from my family. I tried to handle my own money. I fell in love. I made myself my own album, thinking I can do it on my own," she said.

"But again, I'm glad that I did that because there's always a reason for everything. That was a really memorable time for me," she added.

Despite it being produced 15 years ago Heart doesn't think it sounds "like 2005."

"It sounds now. It's not dated," she said.

She has yet to announce the release date for the songs. —JCB, GMA News
