Myrtle Sarrosa, other Kapuso artists to hold special fundraising stream for Ulysses victims

Several Kapuso artists are joining forces to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Ulysses.

Myrtle Sarrosa made the announcement on her Facebook page, inviting fans to a "special stream" on Saturday at 7 p.m.

 

 

 

The "stars" received from viewers will be donated, and those who send over 250 stars will get a special video greeting from Myrtle. Proceeds will go to the relief and rescue operations for those affected by Ulysses.

There are also a bunch of giveaways ready for those who share the stream.

According to GMA Entertainment, Myrtle's special guests will include Nikki Co, Ana de Leon, Abdul Raman, Janelle Lewis, Dayara Shane, Gelo Alagban, Kyle Ocampo, Lianne Valentin, and Radson Flores.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Saturday said the death toll due to Ulysses has gone up to 33.

Meanwhile, the number of injured remained at 22, as did the number of missing at 20.

Typhoon Ulysses exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday morning, after devastating the country with strong winds and heavy rains. —JCB, GMA News
