Video shows Rocco Nacino and Melissa Gohing in tears during big proposal

There were no dry eyes during Rocco Nacino's proposal to Melissa Gohing.

The couple's proposal video shows the special moment, planned carefully by the Kapuso actor, who was already emotional before it even began.

"I really thought about it, you know," Rocco said as he prepped for the proposal. "Kapag alam mong siguarado ka sa taong yun, mararamdaman mo."

"Sabi ko, I think it's time. I think oras na para mapunta sa bagong chapter and I think what better time than now? Ba't ko pa patatagalin pa? She's perfect," he added.

He also said that the goal was "not to cry," because he was an "ugly crier."

However, the goal was not met. When they arrived at the beautifully decorated field, Melissa already started tearing up.

Rocco then began his speech by thanking her for everything.

"This is the best version that I am because of you. You always teach me to put God at the center of our lives. Wala kang sawa sa pagtiis sakin, that for me is crazy, crazy. I did all of this just because you deserve the best," he said, turning emotional.

"I love you with all my heart I want to spend my life with you, the rest of my life with you. You're the most beautiful woman in the world, in God's eyes, and especially in my eyes. You deserve nothing but the best," he added.

With tears in his eyes, Rocco got down on one knee and popped the question, and Melissa could only nod as she cried.

Their friends and family, who were watching via Zoom, were also crying.

Rocco announced their engagement last week, saying, "And she said yes."

In a post, Melissa said it was the "easiest yes" she has said in her life. —JCB, GMA News
