Nick Cannon tests positive for COVID-19

Nick Cannon has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Variety, the “The Masked Singer” host will be sitting out of the singing competition’s fifth season for at least a few episodes.

Cannon, who was diagnosed with lupus kidney disease in 2012, has not posted on social media about his diagnosis.

“The Masked Singer” is a mystery singing competition where celebrities perform songs for judges who try to guess who it is behind the mask.

Season 5 is expected to air in March with  Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke as panelists.

Niecy Nash, who was a guest panelist on the show, is expected to fill in for Cannon. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
