Heart Evangelista gets ‘real and dirty’ as she answers rumors about her in new vlog

By FRANCHESCA VIERNES,GMA News

Celebrities are often bombarded with rumors especially about their private lives and Heart Evangelista is no stranger to this.

In a YouTube vlog posted on Tuesday, Heart answered the craziest ones she got from her followers, being the “real” woman that she is.

Here are some of her notable answers:

“You and Chiz don’t sleep in the same room.”

Given that she and husband Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero don’t see each other often these days, Heart immediately disagreed.

“Of course we share the same room. Minsan minsan na nga lang kami magkasama, ’di pa kami magshe-share?” she exclaimed.

According to her, there came a time when they didn’t see each other for a month because of their busy schedules.

Despite this, Heart said she understood the situation and she had learned to “let go” when needed.

“Ang selfish ko naman that just because I want him beside me, he has to ignore everybody na nakasalalay sa kanya so I have learned to let go,” she said.

“I’m very proud with what he does there and I totally get it and now I’m actually glad that I have more time for myself.”

“You smoke like crazy.”

Heart admitted that she used to smoke “a couple of times” when she was young since she thought it was “cool.”

“That was just a phase. Every time I go through a breakup, actually, I would smoke but when I got older, I think around 25, I started to become paranoid about my health,” said the actress.

“I wasn’t really a chainsmoker. I only do it when I was partying with friends. I stopped doing that because that’s not nice and you smell horrible too and it makes you look old,” she said.

“You don’t treat your step kids nicely.”

According to Heart, she treats her stepchildren “extra nice” because she has learned to love them whole-heartedly.

“When you love other people even if you didn’t give them the gift of life, it still feels so good because you don’t necessarily want anything in return,” she said.

“You just want to love them, you just want to guide them and now, I really love them as my own.”

She added that her pregnancy helped the family become closer.

“I really felt differently towards them because I really felt that maternal feeling and I loved them even more and I think they also loved me even more,” said Heart.

“We are fully aware that Chiz is a little bit older than all of us so in the end, kami kami lang din naman yung magkakasama so I treasure them so much and I’m very blessed that I have two angels here at home.”

The actress, however, also admitted that adjusting at first was hard.

“The setup was such an adjustment because I had to really mature and I wasn’t even thinking. I was so immature during those times so it was really hard for me. I would cry,” she said.

“You have a son with an ex in Davao.”

According to Heart, this is definitely not true. If she did, she would’ve given the child the life he deserved.

“If I had a baby, I will definitely take care of them. I’d give them everything. Everything I have, I will share or I’ll even give them more. I’ll probably even stop shopping for myself.”

“Gold digger”

Heart said she would never marry for money because she would be “miserable.” She would rather have someone who worked hard with her.

“I’m like a love plant. I like to feel loved, I like to be in love for me in order to survive in this crazy world,” said the actress.

“If I’m miserable and my husband is the type that’s rich but demanding like, ‘you can’t do this, you can’t do that,’ kasi binubuhay ka niya, oh my god then ‘sa’yo na lahat ’yan noh. Saksak mo sa baga mo yung Birkin na ’yan.’”

She then encouraged those who are stuck in manipulative relationships to choose themselves because, eventually, everything will turn out just fine.

“Basta nasa tama ka, ’pag umalis ka na sa bahay na ’yan, sa manipulative na mayaman, nako, you will achieve more in life because you will have all the freedom. You have your life and that’s the biggest wealth that you could start with first and everything else will come,” she said.

“Don’t ever be with anybody who controls you. It’s such a big turn off. You have to have a backbone, girl!” – RC, GMA News
