Cherry Pie Picache shares having survived COVID-19 after 'tough, painful, scariest 3-week battle'

Cherry Pie Picache shared she has survived COVID-19 after a three week battle.

On Instagram, Cherry Pie shared a photo of herself smiling and admitted she wasn't sure if she should post about her COVID-19 bout.

"Though after reflecting and praying...maybe it will be of help, send a little ray of hope and inspiration," she said, adding it was also one way of expressing her gratitude and testifying to God's gift of faith.

"I will forever be thankful, grateful and I am blessed to have all your love, support and help in one of my yet again, tough, painful and scariest 3 week battle. Kahit po naging matigas ang ulo ko dahil ayaw pa-hospital," she wrote.

She thanked her son for "taking good care of me. I know 'twas not easy."

At the latter part of her post, Cherry Pie used the hashtags, "#isurvivedcovid19 #isurvivedpneumonia #boostyourimmunesystem #staysafe #observeprotocols #stayhome #wearamask #drinkyourvitamins."

On Sunday, the Philippines recorded 9,475 new COVID-19 infections, raising the total tally to 721,892.
