Dingdong Dantes says he has no plans to run for office in 2022 elections

Dingdong Dantes has no plan to run for public office in the 2022 elections.

The Kapuso actor and host made the clarification during an online media conference for a TV show on Friday.

When asked about certain reports claiming he was being encouraged to run for office next year, he answered: “Wala po, wala po akong plano sa 2022.”

He also denied claims that certain individuals or a party-list had tried to convince him to run.

“Wala rin,” he said.

The Filipino actor, TV host and producer previously served in the National Youth Commission before resigning in 2016. – RC, GMA News
