Rocco Nacino stays with GMA after a decade as he renews his contract as a Kapuso

Rocco Nacino is staying a Kapuso as he renews his contract with GMA after a decade.

Officially signing his renewal contract on Thursday, November 18 with GMA Artist Center, Rocco told GMA News Online, "I can still stand out after so long in the business."

"I feel that 10 years is already long and napapansin ko, all throughout my 10 years ang bilis ng pangyayari," he added.

"Ang dami-daming pwedeng maganap. Ang daming proyektong pwedeng gawin and I believe sa mga sinasabi ng mga tao sa showbiz na you are only as good as your last project," he said.

The Kapuso actor said he would always try to scare himself and remind himself to keep his feet on the ground.

"So it's something that I really take into mind in order to scare myself na to remain humble, you have to always stay humble and look back on the people that helped you get to where you are," he said.

According to Rocco, it was something he learned in StarStruck and it's something he tries to practice up to this day, a decade later as he once again renews his contract with GMA.

Present at the signing are Gigi Santiago-Lara (Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions), Simoun Ferrer (Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing), Lilybeth G. Rasonable (Senior Vice President for the Entertainment Group), Darling de Jesus-Bodegon (First Vice President for Musical, Variety, Talk, Magazine, Specials & Alternative Productions), Daryl Zamora (Senior Talent Manager) and Raphael Nacino (Rocco's father and co-manager).

Rocco started his career with GMA after he won as the Second Prince during the fifth season of StarStruck in 2010.

The Kapuso actor is currently starring in the GMA teleserye titled "To Have and To Hold" alongside Carla Abellana and Max Collins. — LA, GMA News
